Ok, I know I'll sound like a dummy, but I need to ask how you remove the LPR. I'm trying to break this marker down to clean and relube etc. Also when I look down the ram chasm the object at the bottom is red. i'm wondering if this a stock part etc. Could no find a schematic breakdown on here.

Unscrew. That's all there is to it. Just don't lose the valve spring an poppet that typically come out after the LPR.

The object you are seeing that is red is a MacDev red Valve. To take the Red valve out you need to take your tray off and unscrew the valve locking nut. Then push the valve out from the back.

Look here for a break down:

Ok, so now I have the LPR off and the valve out. It is indeed a nice shiny red one. About the LPR...how do you disassemble it for annodizing?
