FWIW, it's complaints like this that made me STOP doing customer service for VW.

As it stands, Goldie still owes me cash for my time/efforts - I'd offered to take it in parts a while back, but he just flaked out on me entirely.

A shame, too. He was one of the biggest stand-up guys in the ICD world at one point.

D.

wow... tha's all i can say... speechless sorry to hear that D.

I think maybe the vaporworks banner should be removed from the banner rotation up top.... just sayin...

Spitle and I will discuss that, Tok, you still carry your permissions, can I quote your above statement as your official stance?

Is it possible to remove the link that takes you directly to the website? If so, I say we keep the banner.

i have had no experiences with vaporworks or goldie. the only thing i would worry about is people going to his website through here and purchasing services/goods and being out the money and/or marker. i have heard that there are people who have sent him their property and that property is sitting on shelves somewhere. i would just hate for that to be me. i was browsing on pbnation a few months back and i ran across a thread were something similar had happened. these people ended up getting the police involved. the police seized boxes of markers and did their best to get it back to the rightful owners. i dont know if something that extreme is needed, but just a thought. i would hate to see it come to that.

oh holy crap, biggie. you have 666 posts.

yeah i noticed i still have all my admin permissions... i just figured since I have been away for so long i didn't want to assume anything or step on any toes. I realize I've been gone for a while and I don't assume to be anything other than an old timer coming back to say hello Smile

but yes if vaporworks is causing that much issue and they are not paying for advertisement then yeah my vote is to remove them.
