Hey guys wanted to get your opinion on the PM5. I bought a PM5 with no HPR, extra body, extra noid, and extra set of eyes for $100 shipped. A friend has a PM6 stock frame and bolt which he is going to give to me to complete a second marker and ill prob end up selling one to cover the costs of the purchase. I have never used any of the PM/DM markers but i thought i at that price it was a steal so i went for it. Do you agree? Thanks for any opinions!

I liked the PM's I've had. I thought the PM5 was bulky and tall but it got the job done.

The PM6 was much better and I had the UL frame on it so it was very comfortable.

$100 that was a great deal. Not sure that the PM6 bolt will fit in the PM5 body. I know my PM5 and PM6 had different Fuse set ups. Just have to check on that.

My first electropneumatic was a PM5 and agree with fivestring that they are somewhat tall and bulky. They are smooth shooting guns though and was my main marker till i bought an Ego 6 in early 2007. Still have the PM5 and have still played with it on a few occasions and really like how the spoolies shoot. They do need a bit more attention than an Ego 6 though will all the o rings on the Fuse bolt.

$100 is a great deal on that marker and i'm sure you'll like it. They did change the body with the PM6 so the Fuse bolt and the frame might not work on a PM5.

Love protos. My brother has pm5-8, and they all rock. They are so smooth.

Thanks all =) and were those the same guys that did the rotor video with food? i still laugh when i think about "HPS" ham per scond lol.. im am going to have to find out if the frame and bolt are compatible. I just assumed they were =P lol but it seems to be the concensus that they are bulky. Im not too finicky with size of a marker but ill have to feel it to know how it is. Would you guys think it would be worth the trouble to sell both and try and pick up a PM6? Thanks again
