nah not tearing it down. just putting like half a pod through it so that the person I have to ship it to knows it works fine.

And, I was thinking about picking up one of these...
cgi.ebay.com/450pc-Ind...3a5f6a7bc8

just picked up the same oring kit... the only thing i had to add was the 012 viton 90 duro orings for the fs8 other than that the only complaint i have is that they don't have any urathane orings.. but its a good price for the amount of orings you get and they, unlike oringmonkey, give you both the 70 and 90 duro orings in one kit.

O-ring monkey is great for saving money. I picked up a kit from them for my FSP and it's got more than enough rebuilds for at least a couple seasons. The only downside, no urethane or viton.

Honestly, I've found the only o-rings you really need on hand for the FS's are those 006 or 007's in urethane, 012 vitons for you FS8 owners, 017 urethanes and 020's buna.

My next rebuild kit is coming straight from ICD since they will have the ones I'll end up needing. I'll do that unless we can get a bulk purchase of all the above rings and make it cheap for everyone.

I know Ssechreist has some stashed away or at least knows of a bulk distributor. I wonder how hard it would be to get a group buy of FS relevant o-rings?

If we can get 20 people in on this with 5 o-rings apiece (5 of each) we could possibly make it feasible.

I just buy urethanes from mcmaster carr, but they only sell in quantity of 10 or 25, so I hate to get a pack and hold onto the entire thing while they rot away. I still have some of the 017, 007, and I got some in other odd sizes (I think like 012, 009???)

yup if i need a bunch of a particular size then i just buy via mcmaster... that is what i did for the -012 90 duro viton.

eeyore yeah oringmonkey is cheap but their kits don't really go by the OEM specs they will give you the right size but not the right hardness/duro.. everything the send you is 70duro which is not what icd specs list.
