I ordered the Sonic LPR...not the kit so i didn't get the spring with it. Will this effect my gun in anyway..or is the spring just nicer. also I got a vapor valve and was wondering how it was suppose to fit around the cupseal.

sorry to resurrect this thread, but I was just searching for an answer to this very question.

I just got the Sonic LPR kit and the Vapor Valve. The sonic spring (nor the stock one) fit around the valve cupseal. Should I sand down the cupseal so the spring fits over it, or is the spring just supposed to set askew ontop of it?

question 2: should I use the sonic supplied spring or is one of the madman cocker springs better? If so, which color?

thanks!

how much can you lower your LPR by when you put the lightest cocker valve spring in?? just an esimate is cool i don't need to know the exact. i was just wondering if it was worth doing to lower the LPR.

Could always just switching in lighter and lighter springs until it starts leaking..then switch it back to the next stiffest so that it isn't leaking.
Gotta be careful though, some leaks are so miniscule that you can't really hear them. I've always considered switching out to a lighter spring to reduce the pressure needed to open my valve.

if the spring is too light, u can damage the ram since it will hit the valve soo hard

would you then just lower the LPR??? less air moving through ram = softer hit on the valve. isn't the whole point of that mod done to, in theory, lessen the LPR pressure?
