I used a strap wrench... best thing I've bought so far. if not use a pair of pliers, but put something around the ASA so it doesn't get scratched. I use a small peice of leather like a belt.

can i just get a vice grip and put a cloth over the stock reg and turn it off. and then do the same with the asa? i tried it yesterday but i was afraid that it might brake.

yea but you risk ruining your anno and scar-ing your marker...i would go with a strap wrench...that way no teeth to ruin your gun

you can use a vice grip, but i would put something other than just cloth.. something a bit thicker just to make sure you don't scratch anything. try a mouse pad or a leather belt. If you have a sears near by I would spend the 3 bucks for a small strap wrench. It will save you some trouble and its great for opening jars too! Smile

thanks and wat does monke mean by scar-ing ur marker? i need to take off the asa and reg cuz i got a cp reg and a new asa. if i twist the regulartor by the grip with a mouse pad over it will it crack my gun?
