Hey Guys,
I've read a bunch of your threads on useful lubes for ICD guns (particularly Bushy, Promaster and FS5). In them I see references to Dow 33,55 and Super Lube. However, no reference to Hater Sauce. Is this considered a good lube for ICD markers or would people advise against it?

Thinking of going to the hardware store and buying some Dow and Super Lube if the Hater Sauce doesnt cut it. Thanks

I don't know for sure, but it looks like a dow 33 based lubricant.

Someone else will have to chime in, but you could probably use it on rams and regulators. You can use it in FS bolt assemblies, but it will do the same thing dow 33 does (ie decrease the performance).

Thanks for the quick response.

So sounds like i shouldnt use it on any of the Cylinder Assembly both the FS5 and Bushmaster and should buy some lithium grease for that?

Dow 33 and gold cup have gotten any gun I've ever had running very well. Sometimes if I'm looking for a thinner lube for a spool I will thin out Dow33 with goldcup.

There is one exception to this and that is Motion Potion in DM3/Gen-E matrixes.

Call me a ludite but I have not had an issue with any of the several hundred gun I have owned using those 3 lubes. In addition to the several thousand that I have teched.

For the bolt assembly of the FS5, oil is a must. Grease will creates drag and you will have too increase your HPR and LPR pressures to achieve the same FPS.

You get ten points for using that word.

i've never been a fan of gold cup. then again, i use KC Troublefree for anything oil related. i've had the same oil for over 10 years, cause a little goes a long way.

I am a huge fan of Lurker lube right now. It's like the best quality Dow I have every used.

But for Op's question, I use Dow33 or 55 on the ram orings, dow 55 on the valve orings, and thats a bout it. Bushy's don't need a ton of lube.

When I had a FS I was using superlube, which is what everyone recommends.

Don't use dow 55 on anything in a freestyle. It swells orings.

Sorry, should have clarified better. I meant the little tubes of lubey greasy oil that you get a radio shack. I thought it was called superlube?
