Its the new breakbeam. Instructions for installation and the template can be found on www.dingopaintball.com along with the manual. Also, the lcd isnt' working, carlos, the guy at dingo pb said he could get that fixed but im tired of messing around and just want a working gun, hence the cheap price on the dv8

The LCD should be working once i send him the new ribbon cable.
that DV8 set up was done for Octavian, one of the members here on ICD-O. When it was shipped to him, it was shipped tested and working.
I think he did what everyone does when they get a new toy, he oppened it up to see what's new and interesting inside.
What i'm guessing happened is, he accidentaly pinched-cut some wires (it's a tight fit in the tray with the added recharge port) and accicentaly bent the LCD ribbon cable to the point where it broke on the inside.

Normaly something like that is not covererd by warrenty (i think Goldie has the same policy- you open it up to see what's inside and cut something, your on your own) but since Octavian is a friend, and he traded it to Goat, I'm just gonna send him the cables he needs.
Just a nice guy i guess Smile LOL

I take HUGE offense to that, the first thing i did when i got it was turn it on to see if there was a batt. When i first turned the gun on i looked at the LCD and it didn't display anything, i pull the trigger and it was on F/A, i then opened up the grips and turned the turney lock on(i read the manual while i was waiting for the gun to arrice) and it went into semi, but the LCD still read nothing and they eyes weren't working(no delayed click). So I take off the eye covers and clean the eyes and noticed that some of the wires was being pinched by the tray/body, so i took off the tray and moved them then put the tray back on.

Also, since u seem to think i am some sort of incompetent i will bring up the fact that even tho the pds/dv8 was "professionally" installed there was a screw-up and the original holes for the eye cover screws were drill in the wrong spot then filled in with what appears to be Jb-Weld. The pds holes don't appear to be drilled straight. The frame didn't get a hole/drilled and tapped for a screw to hold the board down. Also, the microswitch only had one punch-pin holding it in so it would swivel. Continuing, the black plastic thing that covers where the wires are soldered to the solenoid was removed and some1 apparently re-soldered the wires to the pins on the noid, i can see no reason why that needed to be done, so please, fill me in. Lastly the 12 point harness has one plug part that was damaged that went to the positive terminal of the battery connector, not a big thing but i am mentioning everything i can think of.

Now, I am not trying to put you down in anyway, but you have insulted me intelligence when you obviously know very little about me, and I have taken a great amount of offense to your comments.
