i took the pull pin and put it on my cordless drill. turned the drill on at slow speed and took a superfine wet polishing sandpaper (600 grit) and used that for about 10 min. then I got some polishsing compound that was ok to use on all kinds of metals. I put some of the polishing compound on the wetsand sandpaper. which pretty much made it like a 1000 grit sand paper. I did that for about 10min. then I took a soft cloth and put some of the same polishing compound on that and did that for about 5min. results one shiny ass pullpin.

ps after seeing what a difference the polishing made on the pullpin I went ahead and took apart my ram, piston, hammer and polished them to a nice mirror finish. the whole marker cycles much smoother now and I've been able to drop the lpr even lower than what it was Smile

I would do that, but I don't feel like messing it up.

Curious as to wether you still have the pull pins. I'm in Ontario Canada. Will that be a problem? LMK

i only polished the hammer and piston. I did not touch the piston housing. until i buy a dremel I have no way of polishing the inside of the housing. by the way taking everything apart was pretty hard. the hammer is screwed into the piston shaft and its loctited in there with red loctite. It was tough getting that loctite to break. and make sure that you re-apply loctite wwhen you put it back together and let it dry overnight before using it.

ps sorry for hijacking your thread plee...

if you guys need more info on what I did either pm me or start a new thread and I will post there.
