Smiling was hard. It was 30 degrees out, I had drug the deer for 1/2 mile, and the damn light on my phone camera was blinding me. I was just trying to keep my eyes open. I wish I had a real camera out there. Such is life.

Venison is great as long as the deer is not all stressed out. We hunt in stands and the deer are typically grazing on food plots. Where I used to live they drove the deer w/ dogs much like a rabbit or fox hunt. That tasted like crap!!

That's quite a buck! You should make some venison sausage. That is my favorite way to enjoy the spoils of hunting.

Sausage is good!!!!!!!!! I made 10lbs of kielbasa and 1lb of pepperoni stick from the deer I killed earlier this season. I'm going to be making more pepperoni, balogna, and breakfast sausage too. The breakfast sausage is killer Twisted Evil

Oh and I orderd 4lbs of bacon from the processor this time. I assume it wil be a ground and pressed product but I'm sure it will be good.

The shot on this deer was great. I'm going to get whole tenderloins, whole (split in half) loins, roasts, stew meat, and ground from him.

The last one I got some cube steaks made. It was by far the best country fried steak I've ever eaten!

The cool thing is when my 6yr old daughter has friends over and we eat deer. Its funny cause she will be scarfing it down and tell her friends "we're eating bambi" and the kids just stop and their jaws drop Twisted Evil Hilarious!

Oh yes. My gramps made venison breakfast sausage with like a hint of syrup in it, delicious.

This peperoni proposal has me intrigued. I can't say I've ever had/ dreamed of venisoneroni.

And lol that's adorable.

i love to show people where there are at least 2 8 pointers are. i like to drive up to where there are and show people. sometimes they even come right up to the fence.

the only problem is they are at my local zoo, in a wooded shelter area.
