What happened to the SOB board? Couldn't get it to stop reading the bounces?

OK the TechPro Blastermax 125bps board is faster than a WAS, cheaper than putting a WAS on a bushy, a lil better than Chaos IMO, and can read PDS, too. The WAS EQ boards check for a trigger pull 1,000,000 x's a second, which helps in responsiveness... the TechPro Blastermax 125bps board checks for a trigger pull 1,500,000 x's a second. Best board you can get IMO because it does that, is semi-auto, AND supports PDS.

Talk about someone buying into the hype!

i messed around with a defiant with the BlasterMax board. Its pretty quick, about like the chaos. One thing i didn't like is the way it programs. You have to remove the grip, pull a jumper, hold the trigger, count the flashes, release the trigger, re-install the jumper, put your grip back on. Thats at least two extra steps over the chaos. Too much trouble. Might as well just be dip switch programmable only.

It's better than Chaos, I'm not buying into hype. If you want hype, look at the Freak, Evil Pipe, or the Impulse.

I have no experience with either, but from what MANY people have said, the only advantage is the fact there's no setting's to mess with, so u dont' gotta figure out which PDS setting is gonna work for ya. BUT, i like being able to adjust things, so for me it wouldnt' be a good board.

I got a TechPro chip for my B2K2 w/ PDS. It was supposed to work in my old style board, but it didn't.
The good news is they have excelent customer service, and returned my money.
I'm still concidering the full Techpro Board. Will the Chaos chip work in an old style board (red)
Any input? Chaos or Techpro?
