Hey guys my buddy just got a new B2k3. Basically the same intrernals I have, but here she goes.

B2K3 with CP Reg, Zeni Valve, and stock LPR. Setup running at 225psi. Everything is brand new.

First off, his CP reg wont recharge fast. I know this isnt the ICD reg, but it seems a lot of guys are using CPs. I told him to relube it and he TOLD me that he did. Am I right on track with this one?

Another thing, when we adjust his LPR to hear it bleed off, it doesnt??? What could this be?

Finally, he uses a 68/3000. He had 2000psi left in the tank and he only got 300 shots out of his tank. This seems a little low to me. I figured between the CP Reg not recharging fast and maybe the LPR is set to high, gave him this crappy efficiency?

I told him to turn down his LPR, but it seems to drop off real fast.

Im guessing im gunna have to clean the CP and LPR myself.

Thanks

1) There might be a small leak in the gun
2) Tell him to reset his lpr the cocker method
3) Set the hpr to 250
4) If he has a drop forward he may have to screw it in a little more so the pin is actually being depressed all the way.
5) Clean the lpr and hpr again.

if the cp reg is brand new with the rest of the parts i would think it probably needs to break in real nice, maybe 1k shots, i think ur best bet for setting the lpr would be to by a ram gauge and set to about 85 or 90 psi and hpr at 225 where u had it, just my 2 cents

Had the same recharge problem with a Torpedo on my bullet on/off. Turned out to be the center pin on the on/off was going in TOO FAR and blocking the air to the reg. I backed the knob about a turn and no more recharge problems. Embarassed

That is the same tank that I used to run my BKO on and the first tank I used on my Bushmaster. I was working fine 3 weeks ago?
