First, don't put that white lithium anywhere near a paintball gun. Go and get some non-petrolium based lube or grease.

Second, go to the ICDU section and open up the Valve Install guide.

thanks for the insight.....my first choice of lube was actually DOW 111(based on the info from here, DOW 111 having properties of both DOW33 & 55)

But after first broken o ring, I remembered the valve manuf. recommened "white grease" so assumed Lithium.

I found a rough spot on the valve though, so I fixed that and will try the 111 grease again.

thanks again for the help.

use DOW 33 i think DOW 55 swells o-rings....so if DOW 111 has both properties...uh yehh

Yeah I would say the DOW 111 would be overkill anyways, stick to 33.

Just because Dow 111 has properties of both Dow 33 ande Dow 55, that doesn't mean it's good to use. Along with similarities it could have other ingredients which can harm o-rings.

'breaking' o-rings? are they the right size!! Smile It should be a fairly easy procedure...just lube prodigiously and be careful. Is the o-ring catching on the LPR threads? You might also check and make sure the ASA mounting screw hole doesn't have an edge on it.

16 for a valve...sounds like ebay valve...that may be the reason...some are made too big

I've had a rough time installing a valve sometimes. The eBay valve, especially. Lots and lots of lube and patience.

Twist, don't jam.
