Hey guys I have a GEN-X2 reg in my parts box....well actually its on my outkast sniper II. Seems to be a nice reg on the sniper.

I am considering installing it on my promaster. I have a palmer micro-rock on the way. So I have two options as I see it, use the GEN-X or try to find either a palmer stabelizer or fatty for around $60. Really would rather save money for more skin ink Twisted Evil

So for the meantime, I'm thinking the GEN-x might be the way to go. Any experience with these regs? Thoughts, loves, hates?

I want the promaster to be my eventual beast I just don't want to dump a ton of money into it all at once.

Thanks for your help.

From what I gather they are decent regs. Aside from buying a new reg it will be better than the stock ProMaster reg.

The ans genx reg is designed basicly the same as the AA raptor and the reg in the A.I.R valve of the automag classics,. Not a bad design but recharge rate is a little slow. so if your on the trigger you may have a little drop off in velosity. I have them on a couple of my rainmakers with iceboxes. of cource the rainmaker would only cycle around 14 bps at the max so I never had any problem.
