Like most Bushmaster 2000 owners I wasn't impressed with the side2side play in my trigger. So I purchased a new 45grip, and when I was ordering it I figured I would make myself the most consistent marker without accually purchasing a new one. I already had a dye boomstick barrel and a MacDev HPR. I purchased and installed a sonic red valve, MacDev LPR, and Tantrum bolt. Bad decision the gun works with no crazy pressure spikes, but I am a lot less accurate Sad I got to the point where I striped everything back to stock and it was a little better. Unfortunatly it still seemed to pressure up at 230+/- and then start creeping up slowly to about 250+/- which I felt was still safe, but it leaves my shot to shot consistance terrible inconsistant. I want to use my upgrades, but mostly I just was a consistant pressure back. I really miss being able to hit something on the first shot. Crying or Very sad Is it the products I used or my installation or did I just overlook something?

I noticed an immediate improvement in consistency when I plopped in my Glad Reg. I expect the same when I get my Sonic LPR.

Do you have a LPR guage tool, I'd dial in to 90 PSI first, I got one you can borrow if you live near NYC. I'd clean out your HPR rebuild the thing if its old...oil and lube everything then upgrade everything one at a time.

A lot of people (well the few places where i did research actually hah hah) say the plunger/cup seal is tricky to install properly on the red valve but this is only what I've read... which is why I opted to not order it. I tried to find where I read it but couldn't get it, but I know I read it, 'cuz it made me afraid to order it...

The LPR mostly everyone agrees is a quick drop in replacement...takes two seconds and not much can go wrong since the whole thing just pops in...I can't wait to get mine.

One last thing everything you put in new has a break in period I've noticed this with most any upgrade I've noodled around with on any of my markers, usually 2-3 cases of paint. Have you shot that much through your new stuff yet?

Hope this helps, I wouldn't give up on it. Everyone on this board seems to have a hopped up marker and they are doing fine...my gun shoot darts even only having a new HPR installed so I am excited to see how it operates when I get everything else!

Oh yeah if your pressure is creeping you got a small leak somewhere so you gotta do the lube thing again, just don't use too much...!

I took off the Ram and used the LPR gauge that came with the LPR. I'll recheck the Valve seat and give it all a good lubing. I only shoot about a case though it, then I had a tourney and decided to go back to the old setup rather then enter the tourney with my gun shooting jacked up. When I get back to the states I will be a little more patient with the break-in. Where would you start first to find that slow leak, it is not strong enough to hear where it is leaking, or should I just start from ground zero strip her like a porm date and rebuild her in the image of a warrior. Exclamation

OK, your equipment isn't broken in yet, hence the pressure changes. Here's one way to try and fix it: Dry fire a few tanks of gas. Usually, the regulators need at least 3000-5000 shots in order for them to seat at an accurate pressure every time, if they're not broken in, they do a lot of funky pressure changes.

If that doesn't fix it, the Glad may need to be rebuilt and relubed.

I don't think a case is enough, try another case or two, stuff has to settle in... my Glad is still settling even though I've put 2 cases through it thus far.

I'd agree with the rest...give it some more time to break in, give the regs a good cleaning and lubing, check the o-rings on the regs and ram while you have them out/apart.

the 45grip was to improve the trigger pull and the side to side slop common with the stock grip. Had nothing to do with making the marker consistent.
