I've set my HPR to 200psi, I've backed my micro rock LPR off and slowly adjusted it in until it cycles then gave it a 1/4 - 1/2 turn. I fire a shot and the ball pops out about 5 feet (no chrono reading). I then slowly start to increase the inline reg to increase velocity. I've cranked that sucker up as high as 450psi and I can't get anything higher than 175fps. What gives?

I've noticed that if I keep my HPR at 200psi and start to crank up the LPR I get velocity setting as high as 300fps.

What should I do or what am I doing wrong? Question

on a stock bko, set the hpr to 200 and adjust your fps with your lpr...
if you have upgrade valve and high flow parts.. you can lower your HPR to 180

the method is different than on the Bushmaster (which is what you were trying) due to the difference in the ram/solenoid

no no no! You set the velocity w/ the LPR if you have SP mod. Otherwise the best thing to do is to set your HPR to 200, then turn your LPR up till it leaks, and then back off a whole turn, then adjust your velocity with your HPR.

pat... the problem with your second method of adjusting fps with the hpr after leaking the lpr is that not all aftermarket lpr will lower the same amount of psi with your "one turn"... sp mod or not, stock or aftermarket lpr... using the lpr to adjust the fps is the most reliable method
