LP tanks will not starve your reg...They put out 450psi...The bushmaster runs approx 200-220 stock. But I would get a high pressure tank cause you can use it on any gun...Some guns cant run off of 450psi

Just went over this issue this weekend at the local shop(PB Sports, Ft. Wayne). A buddy picked up a new E-Orracle Autococker and purchased a couple of HPA tanks. We talked about all the differences, and I had recommended that he go with the Pure Energy 68-5000psi like I use on my bushy. The guy at the shop recommended going with the 68-4500 Crossfire tank rather than the Pure Energy because it was a low pressure tank. He said that the low pressure tank would be more consistent than the higher pressure tank.

Well i wouldnt say they are idiots just.... "special".

I'm guessing your field fils up to 5k? Unless it does then its useless to have a 5k tank.

Your buddy purchased a couple of HPA tanks? A couple? Wow is this kid loaded or something?

I can't remember exacly what he said, but it was something like the lower pressure tank allowed the marker to be more efficient(There has to be an advantage with the lower pressure tanks, why would they make them?). They are one of the biggest shops in the country, and they are all certified tech's(Actually the guy that helped us is one of the head tech's for Angel, Eric Batten checkout Angel's website if you think I'm blowing smoke).

Yes we both have two tanks, we need enough air to play through a case of paint. And yes PB Sports fills up to 5K, most places do not. We are in the process of setting up our own fill station, so that should eliminate the need for the extra tank.

Tanks have really come down in price, he paid under $200 for the Crossfire 68/4500. I think that is a hell of a deal, especially when you are paying $1200 for a marker.
