I didnt mean to come off offensive its just i love my town. I used to have a 99 f150 that had fox reses on a camburg long travel suspension kit. It was also 4 linked and had hoops in the rear. All in all it had 20 inches of travel up front and 26 inches in the rear. I loved that truck but it was a huge money pit. That truck would soak up the whoops and jump pretty much anything in ocotillo or glamis. As for this it will be a fun daily driver and will do fine towing my trailer to the desert for those fun weekends lol again sorry if i came off offensive

Well, I was on a caffeine low so I came off as a douche.

I now have more caffeine in me so I should be back to normal.

Whats really cool is that I didn't know there was such a scene in desert running. I figured it was mostly racers and that was it. I had no idea there was a whole subset of weekenders. Really cool to learn about that. Here in SC all we have is mudboggers Very Happy

Speaking of, did you ever find the right plugs for your heads?

Not yet. It has been too cold to get out and clean the engine enough to pull the valve covers off. I might do that this weekend if it doesn't rain. Right now the truck runs so its not a big deal but I do need to know what kind of engine/heads I have Very Happy

Yea man there is a huge scene out here with desert running. Out here a lot me people dirtbike, ride quads, build desert trucks and dune buggies. Is extremely popular in san diego cuz we are so close to the sand dunes, desert, and baja. 90 percent of the lifted trucks here are baja style and im just so used to it being the norm since its all desert off roading here and not much mudding.
