the Matchstick would be the only good choice out of the two. The Evil Pipe is overhyped, the marketting definitely shoved it out in the open too much, and do not perform as well as stated.

On the other hand, I'd recommend a CP 2-piece. These barrels are quite efficient, very accurately stamped bore sizes from the manufacturer, good service and support, they're also quiet.

That MatchStick from what I heard is just a CP barrel made and sold under the MacDev MatchStick name. I might be wrong, but what I say is true, then the MatchStick would be a good choice to go with because them you just got a CP barrel with out CP etched into it.

you just answered yourself about keeping teh boomstick. It is your preference not ours. Also everybody keeps saying to get the cp 2 piece why not try it out? Only $60 I personally don't think paint to barrel makes that big of a difference on open bolt gun anyways.

i noe i had an omen b4 and paint rolled out the barrel when my paint was too small... but anyhoo.. the CP"s dont look very sexy to me....i dont like the front of the tips. its ribbed....but if its the best kind i can get then if the freak not.......r they more accurate then boomies cuz if they arent then id rather keep the boomy

but i still have the matchstik in mind...but i cant find any place that sells them

Paint to barrel match makes a world of difference, that closed bolt more accurate then open bolt because it seals the ball in the barrel is a bunch bull drek. The reason I find closed more accurate then most open bolts is because the little kick a closed bolt has, but with all the new low recoil open bolts they pretty much even on the accuracy issue.
