Well, Not necessarily, but the threading in the body FOR the vertical ASA has been almost completely stripped out of the splash Defiant I recently picked up.

I'm wondering, can I get this tapped for the same ASA that a minicocker uses? It looks like it will work, but does anyone have a better idea?

I don't remember how big the hole is...provided its smaller than a 1/8NPT fitting you should be able to tap it.

I don't see the thread size on the end all be all ICD guide either...

Hmm.. I don't want to permanently attach it either.. I wonder if a bigger Banjo bolt would work, I'd have to drill out the original asa for that?

Unfortunately no, the threading for the ASA is as large as it goes without going into the LP line that takes LP air to the manifold.

Not sure what you can do to fix that either.

Modify a BKO ASA to work! >.>
If I remember correctly the tray is the same size. You would need to tap the two mounting holes and possibly modify the ports...but otherwise it should work.

I'd like to see one, if there are 2 mounting holes.

I may have to go snoop in the the guns/parts to find it in black.

I've thought about JBweld, but I'd like to retain a bit of value for it. My plan is to attempt in retaining it's appeal, fix her up, and sell it. All the guns around the house is pissing the wife off. :/

Hey... never thought of that. What the heck??

Would that work, having constant air pressure on it?
