Just came across this video on PBNation. Very well done video in my opinion, and best I have seen in a long time. Quite motivating I find also... haha, I liked what one guy said on PBNation "People who are thinking about quitting should watch this video first."

A documentary revealing the sport of professional paintball. Player interview with Tim Montressor explains the rewards and sacrifices of a professional player, along with the physical demands of the sport. Team's Included: Philly Americans, San Diego Dynasty, New England Hurricanes Filmed by: Drew Hire, Bence Toth. Directed/Edited by: Drew Hire

So what are your guys's thoughts/opinions? (Only thing I found wrong is that he accidentally said paintballs travel 300mph which isn't a biggy)

watching paintball is much like watching paint dry. it's INCREDDIBLY dull because you can't see everything that's going on at once.

The main draw to playing mainstream paintball is the adrenaline rush and and speed of the game. When you're watching from the sidelines, you don't get either of those; it's simply not a spectator sport.

I enjoy watching it, especially on the PSP's webcast. But then again, I guess I know more about whats going on then someone who would just be tuning in and hadn't played paintball before.

That is the most rediculous thing that I have ever heard....

And why's that?

I guess I worded that badly. This is what I meant by that - say someone with little to no knowledge of paintball, for the sake of argument, turns on the TV and is flipping through the channels. He/she then comes across world cup on ESPN. The majority of people might watch it for a few minutes, become bored, and change the channel. Mainly because they haven't played before, don't really know whats going on, and probably just take it as people just running around shooting their markers.

Myself, having played paintball for around 9 years on/off, hand having become super addicted to it, I pretty much watch it every chance I get. I, for the most part, can tell whats going on in the game. I know their ultimate goal is to hang the flag clean. That they're fighting for pride/glory of being called the world champions.

Do you get what I'm trying to say? I know I suck pretty badly at explaining stuff.

I think the funniest part was espousing that you know something about paintball on a paintball forum.

That is what I found rediculous.
