i got my eclipse hpr adjuter and the stock spring does not fit. what gives?

is there a SMALLER SPRING AVAILABLE?

it's not an LPR adjuster. I have one of those already...not the same....at least I don't think....will verify and get back to you.

They made both. The HPR adjuster has a larger OD on the grip part. I made the mistake of buying it thinking it would fit the LPR. Screws in fine, but when you try to put the barrel on....

Pretty sure the LPRs and HPRs for older Bushy's use the same threading...

yes, the threads are the same. the LP adjuster has an O-ring about half way down the threads and the HP does not. Also the knob on the HP adjuster is larger. only prob is that the HP spring in the bottom does not fit the spring seat in the eclipse adjuster. The LP spring fits in both the LP and HP adjuster seats.....seems strange. I wonder if i could use an LP adjuster spring in the HP adjuster?

anyone have an extra LP spring they don't need?

That is not adviseable. The difference between the two springs is why the various regs are rated as LP and HP.

what if I drill/mill out the Eclipse adjuster to fit the stock spring? Would that be a good soloution?
