Ok guys I have been fighting with a 2k4 standard bushie long enough. I have lubed and replaced all the seals in it. It is bone stock except for a CP Hpr. The problem I am having is that it seems the Dwell is set to high and causing the bolt to stay forward, but with a stock board how is that possible?

Any thoughts??

check to see if your bolt is getting hung around the detents. Also make sure your hammer is screwed a the way on.

Well its not the detents or the hammer.
Hammer is screwed in all the way. and I took the detents out and it is still doing it.

You say the bolt stays forward? What HPR pressure are you running?

It can only be one of three things:

1.) Your bolt is hanging up on something in the breech. Check this by pulling the pin and manually running the bolt down the breech and see if there is any resistance. There should be none.

2. Your ram is binding inside. Could be a bent bolt pin throwing something out of alignment? I'm guessing you have tested your ram out by removing it form the marker, stroking it manually, and noted no problems?? Once you have the bolt out, look at the rams action when aired up and shooting. Does the hammer remain forward too long?

3. Your solenoid is sticking in the foward air position. The only way to check this is to try a different ram and see if the problem still remains. If it is the noid you can take it all apart and clean the inside. Be very careful to not loose any small parts inside. (tiny pins)

Failing any of these it might be an oddball board problem but I don't think that would be it. Also the noid coil might be getting weak, but again, I don't think that is a common problem and would be the case here.

Let us know what you find or have already found.

Ok I went through the gun yesterday before going to the field.

The bolt is not hanging up on anything.

Swapped rams with one of my other bushies and that was not the problem.

Changed boards and it is still doing the same thing.

Swapped noids and guess what??
still didnt work!!

I have 2 other bushies here that I have swapped parts on and it just isnt worth me racking my brain over any more. I think I will keep my CP reg off it and it is time to find a new home.

Thanks guys it will be going up for trade in the BST here.

check and see if the valve body is loose, also stretch the spring on the valve. Just a guess.
