Go to walmart and pick up dye of your color preference. It will be in the laundry section. Get a pot that you dont care for. Turn on the heat until the water starts to slightly boil, then back it down some. Put in the dye, and then put in the bolt. Allow the bolt to swirl around for a good 15 minutes. Not all the die from the packet will be needed, prob like half. The trick is to make sure the bolt is gradually moving around and stays in the water long enough for the delrin to absorb the dye

You can dye delrin and Nylon. The dye you want is Rit. It comes in a variety of colors and is sold in a little box about the size of a pack of cigarettes. It's a powder you will mix into hot water...don't use a good pot for this as it might dye the pot....don't get the dye on your hands....unless you really really like the color.

thoroughly clean the part with soap and water, then rubbing alcohol to ensure there is no grease on the part. leave the part in the hot dye mixture until you reach the desired depth of color on the part. it's pretty easy...you'll have a lot of dye left over so make some nice tye dye t-shirts while your at it. Smile
