Yep Bob Long, Dye, and SP all used to have "team" or SE millings. Dye more less stopped this in 2006, 2005 was the last ST DM.

I think what happened was not necessarily the OEM's fault. I think alot of team or SP guns were outsourced to machine shops or smaller companies. Alot of these companies either folded or just can't aford to dot he work any more.

I think the only one that could do it with some ease was SP because they had all the machinary in house to do the milling.

The second cause is the fact that the big craze is to make the markers smaller and lighter. This is truly a secondary cause though. If the companies wanted to shell out the money for a limited run of custom markers they could....its just not cost effective when the markers are already in the $1400 range.

I think the only two any more that can do this effectively are BL and SP. Their guns are generally less than $800 (accept the Luxe and Victory) so a SE milling or Team milling could be done and sold w/ a price tag to cover the real expense. If you make it people will buy it.
