I am trying to install the BK0 pneumatic shaft on my own but have no idea haw to get the old one out of its housing. Now the reason I didn't send mine in to ICD is because they never responded to my e-mail about getting it the BK0 fixed. After the forth e-mail I just gave up on sending the BK0 to them. I already recieved the pneumatic shaft from Tantrum, and need to pull the housing apart so I can get the broken pneumatic shaft out. Now is there any special tools that are required? If so I know a place that can do it for me then.

I'll try and call them tomarrow then, but for sending the BK0 in I have all but really given up. The good news is that the BK0 still shots, I just have to fill it often and turn it off when there is no action going on. I wonder if there are any ICD cert proshops in the riverside/redlands area?

if u were in the sac area or the bay area, i would be able to help... but for the momen.. here's how to replace the ram

* take tray off (4 screws on bottom), take asa off (2 screws on bottom)
* take off the ram housing (2 screws on side)
* take solenoid off the rar-housing (2 screws on bottom)
* theres one set screw on the bottom of the ram housing... loosen it
* theres a ring around the ram thats screwed into the ram housing... uncrew that (u migth need pliers)
* then pull the ram straight out from the assembly (give it a good tuck becuz theres an oring holding it inside

when you put it back, reverse all the steps.. but the biggest one is to put the oring around the ram shaft before you insert it into the housing

I know how to get that part out, that Pneumatic Ram is not the real problem. It is the Pneumatic Shaft thats in the Ram that is the problem. I need to pull apart the Ram so I can get the Shaft out, and put the new one in. The Shafts seal leak because it over extended when the valve body slipped forward. The marker still fires, it is just that this leak is really getting on my nerves.

Nope, it is coming from the shaft. I know this because I have replaced the O-ring that goes inside the Ram assembly, that did not fix it. I even went throught the trouble of checking the valve seal to see it was the cause of the leak, which it was not. There are other indicators that leak is coming from the Shaft, when ever the bolt is in rest position the leak is not very noticable, but when extended the leak becomes very noticable. I know the leak is from a busted seal on the Shaft it self, I need to find out how to take the Ram apart so I can get to the old Shaft and replace it with the new one that I ordered.
