haven't got the settings lined out yet, but the limiter to the speed is going to be how fast I can open and close the bolt. Figure about 30 cps since it's hosed. Bolt is Delrin. I was hoping to use a GBR with a Delrin shaft and bolt, but couldn't get my hands on one before I sent it off to mill. If I get another one made, I'll toss a stock ram in the Flame and sacrifice my GBR for it.

just need to thread the front of the GBR, or better yet make a rammer out of delrin

also what would be the fastest cycling a smaller piston/shaft like a cocker cycle faster?

okay, here's an ICDO only update:

it shoots paint! i'm uploading the very first pod ever put through her now. via crappy cell service, so it might be tomorrow before it's done.

Disclaimer: i'm ugly and dirty from work, but you guys don't want to see me anyway. I still need to tweak the settings a lot. at high rates of fire, the balls go about 5 feet, but up to about 5bps, it's very nice. recoil is less than anything i have ever shot. EVER. but it frickin works!

check Cdel and Coff
those are what give me drop off at high rates o fire

QEVS might help with keeping cycle times more consistent

here is pic
www.halfcocker.com/alb...meline.gif

imo the cocker has less hammer delay than open bolt guns, and the mq makes it even less

Guys, thanks for yopur kind words.

Pump, I had envisioned a delrin shated GBR, but didn't have one available. Plus, the old school coolness of the MAC was irresistible. I may have to use qevs down the road, does anyone make them in a straight instead of 90? Also, I know that there is at least one MQ'ed Excal out there, so I'm not the first internal ram, but I'm almost positive I have the first stacked tube internal ram.

Now, I need to find some more defiant bodies...
