ur = urethane, aka the white/clear hard o-ring

When I initially took my manifold off, the UR o-ring, which is the center seal, in the middle of the really large circle o-ring, was ripped, partially blocking the hole so it would not shoot past 150 fps. That is what started this adventure.

I replaced the UR90 o-ring with a standard black buna-70 o-ring.

yea, I am thinking I need to track down a UR or buna 90 duro o-ring.

my hardware store only carries 70 duro unfortunately and I dont really feel like paying $15 to get 100 of them from mcmaster-carr.

yes, my experience with this problem is the center o-ring. needs to be a harder urethane oring. the pressure is just too much for the softer ones. it's leaking past the center oring and venting through that side hole. this was my experience too...tried everything kept venting, then changed manifolds and to the urethane oring at the same time...problem gone. there is a reason they went to the urethane orings on those manifolds. I suspect the softer ones compress too much and might possibly even buckle or distort a tad and comprimise the seal. the drag is that most aftermarket bushy o-ring kits do not come with the proper urethane ring... might be able to order a handful from oringguy.

ok, so an update for everyone: I got a 010 90 duro o-ring and it seems to have stopped my leak.

However, now when I air up the marker, the solenoid seems to vent the HPR air off until the reg reaches roughly 140 PSI.

So I will set the reg at around 180-190 PSI, set the LPR and then fire a shot. The marker will fire as it should, but then when it recharges for the next shot, you can hear (and feel) the solenoid venting some air and the HPR gauge drops to 140 PSI. You see the HPR jump back up to 200 briefly, and then it drops to 140.

Anyone seen this before?
