Not anymore but my Dojo was KarDoJitsuRyu, I trained from about 9 on to 16, my shidoshi was a cop in the bad part of Brooklyn, and he opened his school to keep kids off the street, he was part of a anti-gang crime unit. And my dad taught me Wing Chun so i'm always mixing up one thing with the other to fit my short 5'9 self. But I grew up in Brooklyn during a crack epidemic and it was very violent.
No mma for me, I've front or side kicked in and mangled at least 4 guys knees in NYC who tried to do bad on the streets growing up. I don't really ever want to do something like that ever again if I didn't have to.
Anyhow, also funny, but there was a 70s martial art magazine front page cover of John Manniel, the founder or KDJR knocking out Chuck Norris in full contact karate tounrey, I always found that funny whenever I would see Chuck do his stupid little windmill punch move. He woulda got his knee kicked in if he ever tried that stunt with a trained martial artist.

The thread necromancer strikes again!! Hahaha!
Seriously though... I have been meaning post this for awhile. I find leaking compressed air incredibly stressful. Nailguns, hoses, compressor fittings... My boss is not bothered by it, but I have to try and stop the noise. One of our desalt guns needs a new male fitting and I kept unplugging it when I was between shooting nails.

^^Yeah, whenever i see something that is pneumatic, i think about how it would be as a paintball gun. Like if Bosch of Craftsman made pb stuff.
I also drop a lot of pneumatic terms around my friends.

I too have the walking trigger disease. However I use my index fingers as the trigger. I was never a competitive person before paintball. Now I can't even let my 8 yr old son win a foot race without feeling like a complete looser.
I have become a paintball gun junky. You think crack is bad try this drug out. Can't even go play without seeing a new gun and wanting to touch it. If I don't I almost have the sweats and I have big regrets for not asking.
I am more confident as a person. You see I am a true geeky nerdy guy except I have never played D&D. I did play might and magic and also with the Magic the gathering cards. I used to weigh about 120lbs soaking wet(however age did play a small role in that) Wore taped glasses and would never speak to a girl even if it could have positive results. My brother thought I was *** also(not that its a bad thing but when you aren't *** it can be.)
Not saying I am a cool guy but my self confidence is much greater. I started lifting weights to gain muscle so my first paintball guns weren't so heavy to me. I threw out the taped glasses and found out I didn't need glasses except for reading. I now get a tan in the summer and don't look pasty white the rest of the year. I now am a solid 200lbs(however this is too big for the Army so I have to lose some of it) My brother doesn't think I am *** anymore. I now have a beautiful wife and three great kids.
Had the confidence to go and get a good job as a network admin. I know that is kinda getting back to my roots but it pays well and I love it. Can't completely go un-geeky or un-nerdy any way.
I don't think I am as bad off as some of you with looking at tools and wondering how you could turn them into paintball guns but I do see air powered stuff as a means to launch more paint at a higher rate.

sometimes i wish i would get fired. You know that feeling there is something else you should be doing and don't have the cojones to go find something else? plus working for your dad is a major drag. |

I DO love the color. The pictures don't do it justice. If you are not getting a chub looking at the pictures then you are not getting the full effect. This color is why Viagra pills are blue. |
