was laying some laminate floor and came across it mounted to the underside of a shelf. still works too. it is hooked up to some really old school speakers.
the cassette is "oldies but goodies," volume 8.

Not really old enough to have owned one myself but my parents had one in a car. My Grandma had one hidden in what looked like a small row of books. They opened up at a hinge and revealed the 8 trac player.

My first Jimmy Buffet album was on 8 track. Still have it. Not technically old enough, but they were common when I was a kid. What brand aare the speakers? Old Klipsch will fetch a nice price.

I had a couple of vehicles with 8-tracks, used the ol' match book trick to stop my tapes from dragging. You need some Bass 48 speakers to complete the look.
