cockers lol. I just finished mine yesterday and dang, they are so quiet and so accurate. And they are just fun to play with and shoot! Im deff happy I built a autococker. Its going to be my main next season since I have to sell off the electros for car money next year(also getting a pump kit for it). Im also strangely likeing mag's more and more even though I have never shot one haha, so im going to get a 68 Classic mag after christmas to use as well next season.

So, any of you out there ever find yourself like me? Very Happy

EDIT: heres a vid of it shooting right after we got her tuned and chronoed. Man its hard not short stroking when your used to electros hahaha.

I had my little foray with cockers, can't say vie enjoyed them lol. I think it was mostly due to the fact that I had no idea what I was doing. It's taken me this long to have a reasonable knowledge about bushies, I don't have another couple years to figure cockers out.

Mags on the other hand, are pretty cool. I shot one for the first time last weekend, and I think i may pick one up.

I've always liked autocockers. I had one as my second gun ever and over the years I've had a handfull of them.

Still have a 2k4 Prostock. Its now in a closet as it won't sell Very Happy but thats ultimately ok. If I do play ball I'll have it.

The one thing that is synonimous w/ an autococker is a barrel kit. Roll-out is a big problem w/ the closed bolt system so make sure you have one or you will be constantly shooting blanks.

Your video looks good. At first I thought you had a rotor in there. It took me watching a couple times to realize it was the proto hopper Smile

The only thing I really don't like about them is the fact you need a specialized tool to get the valve out. Those are becoming increasinly difficult to find. Did you get the body w/ the internals installed or did you have to track down a valve tool?

What pneumatics did you end up using?

Lucky for me, one of the older guys who has been playing for 20 years and uses almost only cockers and mags and has been since the 90's, I am friends with hahaha. So he let me barrow his valve tool because I did get the internals seperate. He also tuned it for me which wasnt to hard I discovered. I know that CCM sells valve tools but they are outrageously priced at $33. And trust me, I know better than to put my Rotor on that haha, it dosent fit in the feedneck anyways Wink And I got the barrel thing covered, using a Freak with .679 insert. I ended up buying a Jynx front kit, got it for $32 shipped so not a bad deal. And I still have a complete stock pneumatics.

I love the way they shoot and feel but they don't like me. I have used three different Cockers and they all broke because of me. I ambushed a guy and shot the e2 and it didn't work for the rest of the day. I was using one that I borrowed and the guy didn't time it right and the titanium actuating rod broke at the back block threading. I love how they operate I just shouldn't touch them. Smile

I DO love the color. The pictures don't do it justice. If you are not getting a chub looking at the pictures then you are not getting the full effect. This color is why Viagra pills are blue.

I've always just used the correct allen key and pushed in the valve stem while turning the allen, I know one with a hole in the end works better, but it's not like the end of the world if you dont have it.

Uggg I had that Automag UL RT they were ok.... A $150 bushy would kick its BPS behind plus its lighter and cheaper. I squeezed about $350 out of it so i didnt loose that much.
The over $1000 upgraded Automags are nice!!!! but crud is it worth it?
I had one cocker, it was just ok Smile

any gun can be a great performer if you have the cash i feel. Bushys and mags require the most i think (minus aka guns and maybe cockers)
