Well I do speak tech and it wasn't even interesting to me. He says I don't think this has been done before like it's huge news but almost nobody even knows or cares what an ALU even is or does. The funny thing is he probably spent weeks on this and it means nothing. It doesn't have a coolness factor and it really again doesn't mean anything except he waisted a lot of time for something you can do with a nice calculator.

Ok so what exactly is Minecraft andyways?

I DO love the color. The pictures don't do it justice. If you are not getting a chub looking at the pictures then you are not getting the full effect. This color is why Viagra pills are blue.

I googled this "minecraft". Not sure I understand how you could spend 4 minutes with this let alone 4 hours.

Help me understand. Are you just sitting around stacking blocks? Are you dropping acid while stacking blocks?

Enlighten me here Very Happy

i think, and this is an assumption, is that you derive pleasure for building your house, or grounds of which your home is, and using the mining, to get materials for your house, to build it. then you design and change and rebuild and all that fun stuff. it could be interesting, but i don't think so. no patience for that sort of stuff. 10 hours playing Baldur's Gate or any reall good RPG, that is something else in the more better category for me.

Oh, well now I get it then. So you drop the acid and build your own blocky computer world. I suppose its kind of like being an architect in "inception".

Neat, if only they had this when I was in college. That would have been alot more fun than sitting in my dorm spinning a long strand of Christmas lights with my buddy for hours on end Twisted Evil

It's like a virtual form of Legos where you never lose any of the pieces!

But, on the downside, you can't run up to what your sibling/friend has just constructed and smash it all to bits right in front of them just to watch them cry.

Its a hard game to describe. Its one of the ones where you gotta play it to know what its all about. but basically, you are making your own world and you have to mine for items like coal(for light/cooking mainly), cobblestone(for tools and many other items), gravel and lots of other materials I have yet to find. And its awsome because its not a planned type of game. You could spend a hour digging and find 2 pieces of coal, or 30 pieces of coal. You can make glass by putting sand in a furnace(which is made with cobblestone). At night, zombies come out and will try to get you if they see you so its a good idea to be in your shelter at night. There are some during the day but are usually in the dark caves. Its really fun because the more you play the more you learn and find which takes you deeper into the game and more interested.

So ill stop there for now lol. Oh, and did I mention you can kill pigs for porkchops, cows for leather, chickens for feathers(or if your lucky a egg), and sheep for wool? Very Happy

Ok, now im done, for now.
