If you've been around here for a while then you've probably seen this marker. It is one of two like it known to exist. This is a very special Eclipse Bushmaster modified to add the PDS system by Tank at Tantrum Paintball years ago. Doing the PDS addition back then required that the newer, 2K4 drive boards be used even though the old 22 pin boards were PDS capable, there simply wasn't the room for the PDS system, the additional switch and the Battery with the 22 pin board. Consequently the 2K4 boards did not support the LCD screen in the back of the gun so the LCD was deleted.

I solved this problem by making a custom battery pack that located some of the required battery cells in the tray and some in the grip. There are a total of 7 cells at about 1.5v per cell totaling aprox 10v. Top of the line Lenmar NiMh cells were used for the project. By locating the batteries in this fasion The space was freed up to return to the larger 22 pin board that supported both the LCD and PDS. This conversion/modification worked so well I also performed it on the other blue Eclipse Tank did owned by Tselanne.

Since the batteries cannot be readily removed from the marker a small charge jack was added to the inside right grip panel. Simply open the panel and connect the jack to the adaptor I made and plug in to your home NiMh charger.

Here is the thread on the modification:
www.icd-owners.com/htm...mp;t=13598

There is some conjecture as to how the two Eclipses Tank did ened up with Zenitram gripframe. It is unclear if These two marker had the frames added at eclipse or by Tank because the frames have been annodized to match the marker and it matches so well. So we don't know if Eclipse did that or if Tank did it and was really good at matching anno. Marker has matching barrel and a rare matching Eclipse VASA.

Modifications:
Zenitram Grip frame
Chaos Blue chip
PDS/LCD battery modification
Dye Hyper 2 HPR
Dye Mini Drop
CP ON/OFF ASA
MacDev Red Valve

I usually have this gun on Turbo (3 shots per 2 pulls) and it is silly fast. It will throw paint as fast as anything I've seen.

Here is the main picture:

Cosmetics:
There are a few light scratches in various places from use over the years, nothing serious really most show up on the pictures pretty well. There is one major scratch on the Eclipse VASA as seen in the photo as well as some nicks around the inset for the "E" jewel on the VASA. I want the potential owner of this gun to love it as much as I do so I am more than happy to take pictures in any additional angles or views you may like, just ask.

Function:
Marker functions flawlessly. All internals are tight and well sealed with no internal leaking of any kind. The macro fitting into the HPR does have an ever so teeny tiny leak that is barely audible. Just a new piece of macro should cure this I just havn't addressed it as it was so very minor. It never really effected my tank durration noticably so I never bothered. Occasionally the HPR will stick some from sitting so much and require a lubing. It causes a bit of drop off, slow shot recharge.

This marker has been my pride and joy and I have put great time and care into this and if I was made of money I would keep it. But things being the way they are with 4 markers hanging on the wall this gun should find a new home. I have used it many times but have added some markers that get more field time so this one just isn't getting used. It is too nice and unique to hang on my wall, someone else should own and admire it and ofcourse play with it.

At one point I was sure I wouldn't part with it for less than $425. I know that is a crazy price, but after all I really didn't want to sell it. I'm a bit more motivated now.You may still think my price is high...because it is.

Price is $375 obo NO TRADES
PayPal or Postal Money Order
You pay, I ship

I will ship Via USPS or UPS wichever is cheaper Insured for the full asking price of the marker regardless of the selling price we agree on.

Feel free to pm me or post with any questions or concerns you might have.

New owner must reserve first right of refusal for me before it can go to some agg kid or other general dolt. basically you have to offer it to me first! Smile

Oh how I wish I could afford this as a wall hanger. She would look great hanging above the fireplace.

I suppose I should start the countdown for FGB to lay claim Very Happy 10, 9, 8, 7, 6.....

I can't believe you're putting this one up for sale Crash! Never thought you'd let this go.... definitely worth the price for whoever picks it up. This is really a great marker (I would know as I have an identical one!): it's the lightest PL body out there, has Crash's one-of-a-kind battery mod, and it's now 'stock' with the super-comfy zeni grip..... it's quite the rareity!

I can speak for the battery mod as Crash was nice enough to outfit my eclipse too. It is awesome! Just remove 2 grip screws and it plugs right into your charger - no battery changing, ever!. He also used hot glue on the inside to hold the wires in place in case you do ever need to take it apart - great feature!

I don't "want" to sell this but I have to face reality. I don't get to play that much and when I do the Ego is my go-to-marker for various reasons and I have 4 markers hanging on the wall. I can go look at it and drool on it etc, but I don't get to use it and I'm kind of a jerk and won't let anyone else use it so I feel I am doing it a diservice by letting it sit. also I need a welder and mamma won't let me spend any extra money on one. Smile

well, no transaction is currently pending so it's still an open sale. I am willing to negotiate some so if you are serious don't be afraid to make an offer, just be willing to pay if I accept. Smile

FGB is just waiting until he gets tips tonight from his g-string dancing. Those dollar bills add up quickly. The girls love the techno gyrations!
