So where can I send my tank off to in order to get it hydro tested and possible do a reg swap?

Where I used to live there was a local place that did the hydro tests and it was only $25 as long as you removed the reg.

The tank I'm getting in the mail this week is out of hydro and I'll need to send it off to be be tested as I doubt there is a local place.

So if you know of any companies doing testing and a reg swap program please let me know.
Thanks,
Nick

ninja does reg swaps. Any local fire extiguisher shop will do hydros. I get mine done for $12 a pop.

Hrmm, fire extinguisher shop. I'll look into that. I'm also going to check out Ninja depending on how the reg is on the tank.

Thanks

I went to a dive shop once. that was a disaster.

They sent it in with all the tank they had to test, and the place they sent it to didnt' have the rise size ring to hold my small tank. They ordered a new one and it broke, so they had toorder another one.

so a month and a half later... I had my tank back.

Crossfire seemed to take forever to get back to me as well, I felt for sure they were lost in teh mail and i was pricing new tanks before they called me.

This. For 12 bucks that's pretty awesome. The shop I use charged $25 per tank, but I didn't have to remove anything. Use the yellow pages to find 'em.

i had my local dive shop take care of mine. handed them the tank, and didn't do anything but pick it up. it was about 2 weeks, but didn't have to remove the reg myself.

you can take the reg off yourself. there shouldn't be any sort of sealant on it. just unscrew and go from there.

I have sent two tanks to ninja to get reg swaps and hydros. I am very satisfied with the customer service. My buddy has a one that needs to get hydro and probably a new reg. I intend to send it to ninja also.

Wasn't ninja supporting us for a while?

I don't remember a ninja supportership. That would be cool though.
