I started playing pump about 4 months ago. Converted one of my cockers with a cheap CCM economy kit. I've picked up a semi only twice since then - only in frustration, and only in the first month of playing pump.

Anyone else here catch the pump fever? The light weight, no harness, no pods to carry.

The satisfaction of pump makes paintball as fun as it was 15 years ago.
Nothing like snapping out into someone's 15bps rope of paint and planting one ball in the center of their forehead.

I'm very strongly considering selling off all my semi's now.

Every week ill start off with one of the semi's i'll take to the feild, but always seem to go right too my cocker pump. i run the little winchester 50rd hopper and a custom empire pack that holds (4)50rd pods and a 20oz, i run remote on much of everything pump. i like having to carry less weight in my hands these days.

I have at least 2 pumps with me when I go to the field. One is my right feed gen-x with a gat pump kit and my pmi hornet set up for a bottom line with an all american barrel. I love the looks you get when you go up against electros with a pump.

I definitly have to have my electros tho, I usually carry 7 markers to the field and they are set up for different types of play. If I have the advantage I always move to a pump or my tiberius.

Most of my fondest memories of playing paintball involve Challenge Park, my high school buddies and rental Trracers.

Unfortunately I haven't played 'pump' in over a decade, but that should change shortly.
Hopefully I won't sell off my semi's though.

Love the pumps. I am just more of a spray and pray guy I guess. I just can't help but feel the satisfaction of hitting someone with ten more on the way. Just a little sadistic maybe.

I DO love the color. The pictures don't do it justice. If you are not getting a chub looking at the pictures then you are not getting the full effect. This color is why Viagra pills are blue.

during 24hr games, i would break out my SL2 with a 47/3000 revi and a cut propower barrel and drop the pack. i hated trying to spray and really pray for hits, and would rather keep the paint for the sunday end battle.

i have like pump play. i wish there where more fields around here and where pump play is bigger. at Top Gun, a field 2 hours from me, there is the GSP who are all on BEO and are good people, but 2 hours to play pump is not worth the savings in paint for me. maybe if i make the trip on my bike, but that's a lot to commit and commute for.
