Hi folks,

So I am getting back into PB and have pulled my Bushmaster out of the box it has been hiding in. Dis-assembled it, cleaned it out and lubed it. Just got my tank today (used) and with the tiny bit of air (maybe 500 psi) left I tried to gas it up.

Good news! Bolt goes back, and the major leak (out the adjustment screw on the LPR) was an easy fix. But I cannot get the marker to cycle. Bolt locks back, LED blinks, LCD starts up but the marker will not fire.

I dis-assembled, checked the schematics, and made sure I had not put something in backwards. Then I noticed when I pull the trigger (degassed) I hear the MS click but no solenoid, same thing gassed.

Any suggestions?

Welcome to ICD-O!

If your noid isn't clicking, it could be a couple things.

Check your wiring (see if something has become de-soldered, or a wire as broken off)
Rebuild your noid. If it has been sitting for awhile, the spool might need de-gunked, and relubed.

If the noid is not clicking, that is your main problem. I would say check your lpr pressure, clean your noid, make sure your board isn't in backwards (could be the case, check it).

Let us know what happens.

What kind of bushy is it?

Thanks!

The wiring looked good but I'll check again when I clean out the solenoid. Any suggestion for lube type? I have been using DOW on the rest of the marker.

1st Gen (335) re-anodized forest green w/ smart parts wood grips, micro-rock lpr, red valve, shocktech/eclipse/tantrum bolt, tantrum w/ chaos chip, LCD mod, and a battery door added.

For noids, I have used dow33 and superlube. Both seem to work well.

Just remember, you want enough lube to make the orings shine, but not enough to leave any buildup.

Well dis-assembled and cleaned out the solenoid. There was quite a bit of DOW in the spool as well as a few metal shavings! Not quite sure where they came from. Re-assembled and no luck, bolt goes back but the marker will not cycle.

I also gave the harness a good looking over, no readily apparent damage.

Suggestions?
