i do not like bush, because he wants to start things. war on iraq did we find any "weapons of mass destruction"? no, he just wanted to finish his dads war now we went and spent all that money on a useless war and now have to pay ot rebuild the country. that money wouldve worked fine for improving school or other useful things. just my 2 cents.

War on Iraq = Wasted Money

Frankily spending all these billions on a war that did not need to happen is the biggest waste of money ever. That money could have been used here to clean up are debt, and improve other public services. Sedam is guilty of playing us like fools, half that crap Bush was talking about was dismantelled in the first Iraq war, all the stuff after that was a bunch of horse crap to scare every body else. The only one good thing Bush has done was in Afganistain, and thats probably the only thing he has done good for us, before we try to fix other problems we need to fix are internal problems first.

Well, as no one else is doing it at this point, I'll jump in on the President's side.
The War in Iraq had a LOT more to do with History and Economics than with WMD.
The reasons given to sway public opinion may have been based on shoddy Intelligence, but morally I think we did the right thing.
Everyone seems to forget that Hussein murdered THOUSANDS of his own citizens using weapons that included poison gas. (WMD??)
Torture was an everyday occurence, kidnappings, and mutilation were sanctioned means of intimidation. BY THE GOVERNMENT IN IRAQ.
Knowing what you know now, would you have voted to stop Hitler before he blasted across Europe?

FOD: You'd rather have bush? uhh.. maybe you meant "Bush" instead? Wink

Bush went into Iraq for the wrong reasons.. to win popularity. Bad Idea.

He could just as easily have said, "They have weapons programs that are prohibited under the terms of the Gulf War surrender" - and he would have been 100% in the right.

Weapons of Mass destruction.. that was an iffy one. The weapons programs were in place; he just hid them well enough that they were able to dismantle any evidence before getting caught.

Please note: Where's bin Laden in all of this?

Bush is a Spin Doctor. he must be good at it; he got elected after all...

*shrug* I'm a Canadian, and I don't know if I'll have my citizenship in time to vote - but to be honest, based on what I've seen, I probably wouldn't vote Bush.

so...you think its amazing thousands of people died over many years???
Bush should have been worried about us, we have 1200 deaths a day from cigarettes alone...he do anything about that? no! in a way hes letting americans die but saving other people...tell him to get back over here and help the country that didnt elect him first (i say didnt cause he only won due to his brother in florida). What you got to say to that?

Looks like its a neck and neck race.
I voted for President Bush by the way, and plan to again in the fall.
