no, you cant. your air compressor likely only goes up to 150-200 psi, nowhere near the needed 3000.

Just get a scuba tank. You can get about 12 68/3k fills from a 80 cubic foot scuba tank.

Scuba tank, booster, and home shop compressor and you'll get a ton of air fills.. get two scubas, and you'll never need to get a scuba filled elsewhere - just fill one off the other through the booster.

Yeah, but its only costing me $4.50+tax to get my scuba filled. And I used to pay $3 to get my 68/3k or my 48/3k tanks filled, which pisses me off.

So you're dropping $5 every time you get a scuba filled.

Find a buddy who's into that sorta thing, pick up an extra scuba and a booster, and use one to fill the other.. and it's all good.

That, or rent a 3500 psi, 244lb tank that'll let you suck 2 or 3 times as much as the scuba would get you. Leasing the tank is about the same cost as buying a scuba, but you can take it back when you don't want it anymore, and get back 75% or more of what you paid for the lease.

Lots of options. Smile

$500? If you're lucky. I've seen 'em go for as much as $1200, depending on what it does.
