Ok, so I have a Lasoya with a crammer ram.

It will cycle perfectly all day without running paint through it.

As soon as I put paint in it (DXS bronze), it will shoot one, maybe two balls, and then the bolt will get jammed and is VERY hard to get into the cocked position. It will then shoot one or two more, and then lock up again. You can keep pulling the trigger, and the bolt will move about a 0.5", but will not fully return rearward. But keep on shooting (say 30 half shots where a ball never actually comes out) and then it will shoot another one or two.

I ran some of the paint from the same bag, with the same barrel and halo hopper through my other promaster and my FS7 and there was no issues.

My LPR is running at around 100 PSI, and the HPR is a little above 200 PSI.

Any ideas??

drop the LPR pressure. you shouldn't be running it that high. should be around 75psi, but i'm coming from B2Ks' setups.

For some reason I doubt it's as simple as dropping the LPR pressure.

I've got the ICDU Ram and I'm running about 90psi. Don't have that problem with the recocking though.

Sounds very strange that it will cycle fine without paint but when you put paint into it, it seems to screw it all up.

Question: How much tension is there on the ball stack from the hopper? The friction of the next ball in the stack might be killing some of the bolt's inertia. Maybe try taking your hopper off and feeding one ball at a time and see if that makes a difference.

Check the physical bolt movement by hand when the marker is degassed. It should be fairly easy to push the bolt back and forth. On my Lasoya I can point the marker barrel downward and the bolt slides forward by itself. When I point it barrel up, the bolt slides back by itself.
Look at the bottom of your bolt pin to see if it's been rounded off or irregular. I got my ICDU Ram without a pin and modified a few different bolt pins from other Promasters. I found I had to mix and match different bolts with different pins to find the one that worked well with my ICDU Ram. If you have any other bolt pins or bolts, try those out.

If you can't get anything else to work I could maybe send you out another pin to try out.

The problem with the Crammer and ICDU Ram is that the rammer can move up and down slightly during travel. This means that the angle of the bolt pin in relation to the rammer can vary a bit. If there is slop with in the connection of your pin and rammer it could be the cause of the problem.

Oh, and for poops and giggles verify your dwell is 8ms.

not that bad

pull the bolt pin when it jams again and check if its bolt or rammer
or if its bolt pin jamming the rammer, the GBRV2 had that problem of the pin pushing down too hard jamming it
