I recently got an x-mill Bushmaster and its my first bushy. I have been out of paintball for a while but wanted to get back into it with a Bushmaster. My problem is i cant seem to get my pressures right to get the right velocity. The gun came with a mav dev gladiator reg and the adjustment screw is stuck and the LPR adjustment screw is stripped. The tank i have is a ninja 48ci 3k but I think the output pressure is too high because my gauge is reading at about 800 at the asa. Any possible help will be appreciated, since i am a bushy noob.

well, you will need to get the adjustment screws out and replace them. you'll never will get the gun shooting right without it.

with stripped screws, you might be able to stick a metric allen wrench in there, to get it out, but its best to use a penetrating oil to help loosen it up.

what kind of LPR do you have? pics help, as there are sometimes other ways of getting it apart and fixing the stripped parts.

Ok I got the HPR screw loose and moving properly, the LPR is another story. Its fully stripped and basically a circle now. I have pics but I keep getting "Sorry, but the maximum filesize for all Attachments is reached. Please contact the Board Administrator if you have questions." and the file size im using is only 277kb. Is there a special way to upload pictures?

not sure, i usually upload to my google acct and then post.

sometimes i can get lucky and will take a drill bit and giveit 1-2 quick clicks to get it started in the stripped screw, then with the bit locked in the screw I can grab it with some pliers and turn it out that way.

ok, that looks like a gen 1 Macdev Sonic. you have 2 options, cut a slot in the face to use a screw driver, like the stock LPRs. 2, get an easy out, thread it in and turn it out. either way, its going to be ugly. you won't be able to find a replacement face, but you could go to a machine shop and have them cut a new center piece(which could cost more than the LPR itself) or have them, if its not too bad, cut a new hex slot, that will be bigger than stock.

Thank you. I may just grab a new LPR, found a new Macdev sonic for $40 and im going to remove some shims on my Ninja regulator to get the output pressure down closer to 400-500psi. Next task is taking apart and cleaning my HPR and hoping i can keep it without replacing it too.
