dip switch board question

found out something new today, and it brought up a question that I need help with. The 12 pin dip switch board will not work on my non-pds setup. But, it works on the PDS setup. Any idea why, and if there is a way to disable the eyes through the dips? I have 2 boards that are working the same way, so I am assuming this is the way they are supposed to work??

might be a later chip on the board, or possibly a reflashed board. i think on the later boards they changed the dip switch settings. look at the manuals or board settings on the 2k2 non-LCD. if its the one that i sold you, it was working on a blind harness, as it was the first board to test a few new harnesses that i was making for people.

but overall, that is odd. is there anything on the chips themselves? on my new defiant, i didn't realize that the chip was a Chaos one, till after i got into the programming section, and then realized that the chip had Amtel on it, not the ICD 1999/2000 writings.

NM, got it figured out. I was having multiple solenoid issues.
