I just want one for the adjustable bonnet. I hate pokey fill nipples.

Also, got a chance to shoot a hostile rogue today. Very cool.

this Sunday, i played pump.

GSP(Garden State Pump) was having a practice day and through their affiliation with Big Evil Online, had a open call to play. well, throw together my half block and grab a light load of stuff. up to play. it was fun, it helped get the rust off from the winter but its so weird shooting half a hopper(used my revy that should be a freshmen this year) in a game, but thinking i was working 3 times as hard to shoot it.

need to tech the pump a little more. it was a bit of a gas hog, but it was dialed in on the chrono. when i finally remembered which way the hyper adjusts, i got a string of 285, 285, 285, 287. not bad for a bunch of parts just thrown together this week. i also finally used my sleeper barrel, old 1 piece Dye aluminium that's bored for inserts.

i didn't bring any other guns, as i wanted more to play than tech guns. i have enough air that i can do it at home. so it was good day, except when i was caught prairie dogging over a can and had a shoot go across my nose. damn rust.

sounds like fun, last three times I played I took a cousin for his first times so we played rec ball instead of speedball. It was a blast, they have a town field and desert field next to each other so they can use both when big games are possible.

It was strange shooting the FSP or PMR and having to shoot carefully, as it was easy in those 10minute games to go through 3pods and hopper, I cant imagine half a hopper for a game.

There is a 2v2 tourney at a new field in town and your only allowed 200 rounds per game, would be good practice.

a hopper for 2v2 should be more than plenty.

yah the few times we have done some 2v2 and 3v3 on weekends i rarely go through more than a hopper. Still makes you aware of how much your shooting.

i used to play hopper only for 7 on 7 or bigger games. it minimizes the useless paint throwing, making you learn what is a good use of paint and useless wasting of paint. it also makes you learn how to move, when to move and to not rely on RoF or modes, or "I can rain paint on you cause i carry a case of paint and you can only afford to play with a hopper".

but also remember, i was using a PUMP. i didn't have an auto trigger and at most, i would put a few rounds to get them tucked in and then engage in a snap shooting contest. i brought a pack, but i never needed to even think about putting it on. other than the 4 hour round trip commute, i will do this as much as possible cause its just so damn fun.

You guys shoot make me laugh.

I shoot more paint in my backyard then in a usual walk-on game, hahaha.

I'm hoping to get out to the field and play some rec games with just my Splatmaster. Goin' Old Skool.

honestgly, i am the same way most of the time, i specifically alot money towards buying decent paint at my shop or field and going throgh most of it that day(4-6 hours)

I rarely play fron tho, most of the time mid, or sometimes back and so obviously go through more paint then. but even n rec ball, if the game is long I find myself going through a hopper and 2 pods at least.

I find it fun to play the limited paint games tho.
