Dyn is so good that he can turn a Bushmaster frame into a B2K4 frame.

i think that is the easiest, but i still want to do one last search for the screws. i'll be calling McMaster-Carr and see if they have a clue about what i'm asking for.

if not, i do the thread one side and countersink the head. i just have to look for the best screw size. i do have some 2-56 and want to see how well they work. but for final product, i do want to use allen head.

What size are you looking for as I probably have them. Not just 1 or 2 either. The pic I posted in my build thread shows poly-cases, two of those are nothing but SS screws & set screws for just pball markers.

The counter bore I did with a 1/4" or 5/32" end mill... But I have also done it w/ the same corresponding size drill bits. You just have to take your time...

oh, i don't have your supply, but i do have every bolt size for a Bushmaster in SS. i do believe in SS screws from some of the states of guns that i have gotten. i even replace the manifold screws in SS. so i'm good on that.

when i did the bolt through, i used just a drill press. had to size by eye and multiple passes. not that i minded, its just time consuming. they did turn out nice, but i am looking for quick and clean. i'll play around the next couple of days with it.

well, i did a little test with some 2-56 screws. in some of the frames, the screw just dropped in, others it required a little screwing. also, on the microswitch, the same. one hole didn't catch any of the screw, the other it needed a little torque.

i really think that stepping up to a 3-48 or comparable size would be the best choice. the microswitch isn't the problem, as the threading from the screw only helps, but it needs some meat on the frame to be of any good.
