I forgot how much fun these things are, I need to get to more of them.
We had about 350 players total, I had a ton of fun, and a ton of kills. My new G6r was flawless the entire weekend and was fantastic!

some higlights:
-Me and about 6 guys held off multiple waves of charged on a marked target
-I single handedly took out 10 or so players who were forming a charge over a hill, they were in a huge group and i just mowed them down. the rest of my team couldn't figure out there they all went, because they knew they were coming
- my team won, even though we have very little experienced teams like the other side had.
- knowing that the other side was so frustrated, they were getting REALLY mad at us, At one point I though there was going to be a fight on the field because a player on the other team came walking towards us all puffed up just screaming at us.
- a guy sharing a bunker with me asked me if i was using a spyder. He'd never heard of an intimidator

Sounds like fun. There are not really any games like that around here as far as I know.

scenario games came be fun. if you have a group that goes with you, you can really be a good time.

nice that you got a compliment on your spyder. you don't see many spyders on the field, with all them new fangled Intimidators.

the bad is when the field doesn't have enough refs and bad people come exploit it and try to ruin everyone's fun.

I went with 7 other people, and it was small enough that as long as we stayed in the same area, we'd eventually find at least a few of us again. It was also cool that us together could make a big difference in certain areas.

Scenario games are alot of fun. I think the key is not to take it to serious and have fun. Our local field tries to do two scenario games, one at beginning of summer and one in the fall.
We're lucky if 80-100 people show up given our rural location, but do have alot of fun. The fall one 2 yrs ago went till 11pm and ended with the owner setting off a bunch fireworks during final battle. It was a blast.

yea the opposing team was taking it WAY too seriously, I think at the end they started to lighten up a but, but there was quite a bit of tension for 75% of the game.

Any time someone comes walking up angrily, you gotta give him a few bonus balls to turn him the other direction Wink
