brand new Zodiac ZR1 Renegade. got it in today. haven't even put any paint through it. do want to change out on of my tank regs to the suggested mid pressure reg(550psi), but for now, i'll either through on a LP or a HP reg just to put some air and paint through it.

yeah to me. now i have a gun that is less than a year old. i feel so special.

sick looking zr1 and how does it shot bc i'm up in the air on getting one of these or a Vanguard Demon

they shoot very flat. where you might have rise in the barrel, there is none. if anything, because the the LPR is in the bolt, there is more kick to your shoulder.

i shot 3 different guns before i got this, but after the 2nd time i knew i wanted this.

efficiency is 11 pods off a 68/4500 if its the mid range tankk reg(550psi), but the gun can handle high or low, it just prefers that mid range pressure. its a cross between a poppit and a spool in feel.

go to the Zodiac Website and look at a few of the vids on there. there is one from Chris Cole who takes the bolt out and shows everything about it. the fit and finish is top beautiful, IMO. the trigger is a little weird for my tasts. it has a magnetic return, and coming from the loose light triggers of my B2Ks, i can't rip on it as of yet, the way i want to.

i never shot a Demon, but FGB had a Demon and has shot a ZR1.

i like Zodiac and the ZR1, so i'll tell you to get that. the Demon might be on par, but the advantages of the Renegade has more upswing.

Check out what I just picked up! I'm such a sucker.

And no, the Eclipse was not sold to finance this.

It was just on PbN, surprisingly. Some dude had the whole kit up for like $150.

Can't wait to throw some anno on the thing. Do it up proper.

Not even man. It deserves something special.

I haven't decided yet, all I know is that I need to incorporate some of that famous Shocktech Blue into it.

And I think the reason it was only $150 is because it literally is just the parts. No hardware, screws, internals, nothing haha.
