Just got a message from the opposite end of a trade that the box I shipped an intimidator with stuff in has a huge hole in it. This is the FIRST time I've ever recieved news of having a hole in a box I shipped... And it was a flat rate box...

Contents where:

2k2 lasoya with stock barrel,
ac threaded barrel,
Talon trigger,
Giftcard.

Waiting for pics, unfortunately I did not have it insured, I dont insure markers I trade, only the ones I sell, however, I will now do both.

Will keep an updated thread on this, told the member I'd send the other part of the trade back and take care of everything.

So thank you usps, you made my day...


Edit: he recieved everything that was sent, waiting to assess any damage.

Funny I recieved a sterling in a box with a hol in it this week too. I've also never had issues w/ usps before.

Sad to hear this, I have tried to use them as much as possible. YOu cant get 2-3 day delivery from UPS for the same price.....but their "tracking" can leave something to be desired......

I'm still using them 100% like I am now. They are way better with just about everything I've done.

I've not had an issues with the usps for a long, long time. Every company has issues though. with that much stuff being sent out every day, you're going to have a few mistakes that happen.

I have had them deliver an emtpy package that was torn open with a USPS sticker stateing that it was delivered empty. I have never figured that one out. I mean if they know its' empty, then why the h*** bother routing it and not just return to sender ???????? :0

Exactly! I've had that happen before. The last 3 out of 5 packages I have shipped out to customers was either lost or damaged in the mail by the USPS. And you would think that percentage would be rather low as delivering packages is their job!

It isn't well known but USPS has had a lot of this going on lately. It's Christmas time if you know what I mean. Or in other words. Lets see what is in the box and if it is good enough....... OOPS lets just cover that with tape.

Was it in a priority mail flat rate box? If so it has a $50 insurance on it already.
