Found a local guy selling a project Interceptor on pbnation. Got it for $40, wiring harness was a little messed but I got it going, also missing a reg and asa but I couldn't pass it up, I remember when they came out, I couldn't afford it then and went with a promaster instead but their pretty similar guns actually. I'll try to take some pics sometime. Also own an Invasion too which is a really sick gun.

Nice deal! Haven't shot any Aliens other than the Invasion which I sold. Was an awesome gun and felt great in my hands but I just kept going back to my Promaster and Creed... Can't seem to find many guns I enjoy shooting more than my ICD's =/
Good luck on the project though! Hopefully you don't come across many issues.

I almost bought an alien a few years back. I'm glad I picked up a marq instead, and have stuck with bob long. Something about alien just doesn't seem right and the owner had lunatic claims about the sweep bolt.

The Indy line of guns are quite nice, like sexy egos, also the ram has a delrin bumper on the front of it in the 09-11 indys to reduce vibration and felt kick. Pretty cool.

What the heck was a sweep bolt suppose to be? Did he broom in it?

No, it's was meant to put a back spin on the ball by pushing air underneath it to get it to spin. It was supposed to help the accuracy of it, and keep the shots in a smaller area.

The backspin did not do squat for accuracy with tippman's flat line. I hated the one I had.

It's an 05 based on the eye covers, black to blue fade. The sweep system seems to not do much for accuracy, not like sizing your barrel bore but my dad and I did a side by side of my alien invasion and his pmr crono'd about the same and where his shots would drop off the invasion seemed to keep going like a flat line barrel.
