I guess we're all too busy with life to play with paintball markers these days! I'd like to get back into it but I think without the enthusiastic youth to keep the ICD tradition alive the brand is doomed much like the Angel groups. They have lost their Angel-owners web site.

I think that if we can keep this web site active for a number more years our kids will take up our old ICD arms and love the attention they'll get when playing with them.... (dreaming I know)

What's keeping you from playing paintball and rockin an ICD marker?

Not much, other than I don't have one right now.

I check here daily, and it has slowly gotten quieter, but indeed life does get in the way for quite a few people. Lex hasn't been on in a bit, Nik left a while back, a few more members will pop up occasionally that I knew back from 2010/2011 when I first showed up, but we are still here.

There's still help that will be needed, and that's why we are here. We've got a good group of people here, and while it would be nice for ICD to grow, I don't want to loose that tight nit community feel this website has.

Hope everyone is doing ok though!

What's keeping me from it? Um....Um... nothing really just being lazy. Smile

Steen, I can set you up with a black/blue 2k4 swoop bushy. It needs trigger work and detents. Cheap! I have ego detents I was going to rig up since I have no luck with the orings. Sad

I'm still a regular to the site, but I stopped posting much. I just hang out and watch the flowers on the wall. Sometimes they even post up new threads.

I don't know. I've got my ICD markers all pretty much functioning and ready to go, I just need to get a weekend free from the rest of responsibilities I've seemed to have accumulated.

I just FINALLY got me a full time job. Have been working seasonally for the last 6 years or so. It'll be easier for me to budget and schedule a day of paintball when I know I won't have to work on the weekend and I'll be able to afford it.

I think I'll might hit up the Supergame up here this May. Prob bring an assortment of mechs and electros. I still have to hit the field with the Flame I got from FGB last year.
Heck, I need to create a thread for that marker in the Bushmaster forum. I'll try and get to that soon.

In the meantime.

Sadly, I don't own an ICd marker anymore. I haven't owned one since I sold off my freestyles.

I moved onto the G6R; I feel it's a proper tribute to what the bushmaster could have turned into.

I still check the site most every day even though I haven't played in months. I bought a business almost 2 years ago which has occupied most of my time & unfortunately most of my money. recently I've gone back to work though & have some one managing it for me. using the business as an investment as opposed to a full time job seems to be the key. I've recently bought a pro-lite & cocker to try & get back into things. hopefully kind of going back to my roots will rekindle my love. haha. I wouldn't mind picking up a bushy though for those times when I get the urge to obliterate the opposing team with a hail of paint. or just look cool wasting an entire hopper without hitting a single thing.
