Yes, Rotors are near indestructible, but have problems with odd shaped paint, loudness, ultra fragile paint(i believe) & i don't like them. I prefer a Spire, but i have gone through 3 back vanity plates. Do need to send mine in for updates, though. Do need a backup.

When the rotor came out, DYE had them set to "OMG LOAD AS FAST AS POSSIBLE!" Once complaints came out about paint breaking came out, DYE stopped doing that.

It's super easy to adjust to ball tension to a lower level. It solves the paint breaking issue.

I prefer my gangster chipped vlocity to my halos. I took the halos apart to many times to want to keep using them.

Of the 2, halo is better than a vlocity, but it always boils down to preference and likes.

If you are going to the best, Spire rules all. Though, a Z2 is no slouch. I would still take a Z2 over a Rotor.

funny part is i have had 4 halos, they always seemed to be a crap shoot... thats what put me towards a vlocity, which always ran flawlessly, everything from reballs to super evil... LOL then i got this last halo as part of a trade, and its been just as flawless...

I cracked so many halo shells. They get brittle.

Yup, the neck is the coup de grĂ¢ce for the halo. The first cracking point being the nose where it gets hit.
