Please help i'm loosing my mind. I have an '04 BKO that breaks paint in the breach / barrel. I am using a halo with compressed air. My hpa is set at ~310psi and my lpr is set at the lowest it can be without drop. I have tried different paint, new batteries, a different barrel, various detent mods all with no improvement. I will shoot 1 ball at a time (1 per second) until i get a break, I then disassemble and inspect. Most of the time there will be little, if any paint on the bolt and breach. The bulk of the paint starts in the barrel and most of the time there is a 'streak' of paint running the length of the barrel. All of the paint that I have used has passed the 'blow test' so its not like i'm shooting paint that is too big. The streak of paint that i reffered to runs along the bottom, side of the barrel, opposite the detent. As far as frequency goes, I can not shoot ten balls without a break. Any help you can offer is appreciated!! THANKS!!!

What kind of detents have you been using? Maybe theres a piece of metal stickin out thats choppin a ball? Or if the detents youve been using are to stiff theve been known to slice a ball. Try a rubber washer.

It would be pretty odd, but I think you might have a barrel fit problem...like the threads aren't aligned with the body correctly. Can you put a finger through the feedneck and feel along the joint where the barrel meets the body (on the inside) and see if there's some kind of mismatch? I'm really reaching here!

uhhhhhh ive always noticed in my 2k3 bko that, if i take the bolt out but keep the barrel in, and i look through the gun from the bolt side, i can clearly see where the barrel meets the body

i dont know if thats normal, just my input
